"Chet" is an "ol' timey walkin' hoss" gelding sculpted in memory of one of my favorite musicians, legendary guitar player Chet Atkins. In sculpting this piece I relied on photos of foundation line Walkers taken in the 1930s and 1940s.
"Chet" will be sold only when pieces are completed, no pre-production orders will be taken. Production is limited to only a few per year, each is numbered in sequence of casting and initial bisque firing.
"Studio Unique" is the term I use for colors which are painted as one-of-a kinds here at Laf'n Bear Studio. They are signed and dated . Studio Uniques are generally considered "custom glazes" in model horse competition.
